In Magincia We Trust
It was a thrill & honor for me to place the home of The Green Company in New Magincia two weeks ago.
The IDOC event that triggered this placement was an epic memory that will live with me forever. Thank you to everyone involved including Lord Mandlar.
The home before ours was a rustic, sad tavern of sorts. It didn’t have any particular flair & likely saw very few customers. The name needs no mention.
After the event, we were immediately inspired at The Green Company to begin construction of a custom, 3-story sustainably-sourced brick & wood guild home.
As we began building, we were enthralled by the beautiful music of New Magincia & began remembering fragments of the past.
A past that began over 20 years ago in Yew.
I was a lumberjack & met a friendly person named Kazola who operated an illustrious & extremely popular tavern in Yew named Kazola’s Treetop Keg and Winery.
Word has it Lord British had actually visited this establishment over the years & placed a plaque there.
It was a special place for many of us. Kazola made many, many friends over the years. I was simply one of them.
She essentially introduced me to playing in-character & roleplaying, and I will always remember this.
The Green Company would like to re-construct Kazola’s Treetop Keg and Winery in New Magincia on Ultima Online Alive exactly as it was placed in 1998.
It will reside on the first floor of our guild home in New Magincia.
We have opted to remove Treetop as part of the name, as we did not place ours in a Yew tree.
Instead, we will call the establishment Kazola’s Keg & Winery.
We are incredibly happy to sponsor & operate this establishment over the years as a tribute to an extremely meaningful Ultima Online player, Lady Kazola.
We will be seeking help in operating this establishment & encourage roleplaying.
Just down the road from the Magical Stone Exchange on Ultima Online Alive, Kazola’s Keg & Winery.
Coming soon to New Magincia.
